What Lisa Marie Presley Has to Say about Michael Jackson

Lisa Marie Presley, who was married to Michael Jackson for 20 months, posted this today on her MySpace blog. It’s a poignant read. She says Jackson somehow knew he was going to end up like her father.
I read her blog post last night. It’s hard to imagine what it must have been like for her to see the events unfolding…so like her father’s death. I thought her statement was very articulate and utterly heartbreaking. I for one appreciated her candor. Very moving.
How profoundly sad for her to go through that twice in her life… I hope she can find some peace and solace. It sounds like she went above and beyond to try and help someone she cared deeply for.
This is a great and deeply respectful tribute to Michael.
I’m still quite shocked by what happened, I listen to my Jackson’s cds over and over and just can’t believe the man is gone…
