Some quick thoughts:

I don’t get Mullet Boy at all. Zero stage presence and can’t really play guitar (he plucks the same chords over and over, unlike Casey, who can JAM). Someone compared him to Sam Cooke? What the…?! Do not insult my Sammy!

Why does John Park insist on picking the most boring songs in the history of music? What’s next—”Feelings”? And if he’s gone after tonight, will Lunesta hire him as a spokesman?

It’s kinda shocking how (Ab)dull Andrew Garcia has been. Maybe he needs to bust out his breakdancing moves next week during his performance.

I’m with you—no one puts Didi in the corner or bores her on national TV!

Christine, your husband has a valid point. As Anton pointed out, the Pamchenko may or may not have been legal. It would have been a nice touch if the terrible straight to DVD sequel had been about their daughter winning the Gold medal without disqualifying herself using an illegal move. Not that it would have mattered, cause in the end we should all just be glad Kate finally said “I love you” (and that she remembers who said it first).

None of the guys seemed particularly bothered by the loss of the day. I get the feeling that both sides get equal time to practice in the run up to the back-to-back show nights. The only real change was that they lost a day to rest their voices, which even still, didn’t seem to be a factor.

When are these people gonna realize they need to get out there, stop preening and, as Randy Jackson likes to say, JUST BLOW!!

It’s like watching one of those pageants for little kids sometimes where you can see it in their eyes that they have no connection to what they are doing, but they know their parents will be happy if they smile a lot.

I think John Park and Aaron Kelly need to be sent packing.

Jason! Love the Cutting Edge reference! Other than my husband, you’re the only other guy I know who has seen it. Though my husband felt cheated at the end…”Yeah, but did they win!?!”

My husband DVRs AI, so I’ll have to get his take once he watches them. Did any of the guys seem particularly stressed having to go a day earlier or was Crystal’s illness not a last minute thing?
