I've heard, "I hate writing but love having written" over and over, and while he did repeat that observation, he also articulated why it's so hard when you're starting out in ways I'd never heard before. I guess as long as you can accept if or when you shoot yourself in the foot by not taking someone else's advice or delegating some responsibilities, then go with your gut.
