A director of mine has stepped outside to take a phone call. While he stood there having a conversation, an actress drove up and parallel parked next to the director’s car. In the process, she hit it 3 times. Rather than yell at her, he continued his conversation, but walked over to examine his bumper. The actress yelled at him to mind his own business and headed inside for her audition. The director ended his call, went inside and just glared at her throughout her audition. He later told me he would have given her a callback if she had even been slightly apologetic.
