I really hate this time of year when there’s nothing on the big screen worth watching.

I was wondering why they mentioned what had happened to all the other brothers except him. Guess they probably weren’t into promoting that part of the Bielski history.

It was great to read and have a bit more insight on the this incredible story.

Anne was good but not Best Actress material. The hand-held camera made me sick (didn’t help that I sat in the second row) and the wedding reception bored me when it went on for days.

I thought Defiance was quite exciting and loved how Craig and Schreiber mowed down Nazi butt!

I don’t know if it was the brother angle or what, but I was weeping like a little girl through the end credits and all the way back to the car…

But, that said, I see your point about things seeming familiar. Christine said the exact same thing. But then, she cried the entire drive home from “Rachel Getting Married” and I thought that movie was just OK…so, maybe we don’t see eye to eye on these things anymore…ha!

I agree with you though about the cast…these guys were amazing! Especially Daniel Craig…wow…that James Bond can kick some serious Nazi ass when he wants to! 🙂
