Thanks for the heads up, PCN. I’m way too wussy to watch Harper’s Island by the sounds of it! Good to know ahead of time so I can avoid having the heck scared out of me. {By the way, on an entirely different note, I’m very happy to hear that you had a little R&R in an idyllic location. I wasn’t that impressed with Harper’s Island or Parks and Recreation.

One has great writers, but an inferior cast and the other has just the opposite. Go figure!

I DVR-ed Parks and Recreation, so I will hold my opinion til later, but I did catch Harper’s Island.

Odd that the shows plot outshines the actors. BTW: that little girl is C-R-E-E-P-Y!!!

She alone scared the pants off me!

I saw them both and I think Parks and Recreation is new and that is why it is so funny right now. Not to take away anything from the lines you posted (they were really funny), but it is still way too much like the office. During the scene when Amy Poehler is addressing a small community gathering, she even has a look on her face that was very Michael Scott-ish. Don’t know if I will tune in again.

As for Harper’s Island: Any show that cuts Harry Hamlin in half before the end credits begin to roll is worth another look. LOL!!
