I’m so glad you’re enjoying TTTW and am eager to hear your thoughts after you finish. And then once you’re done, you’ll only have to wait a few months until November 25 to see the movie. I had to wait 5 years. (Look for my interview with the 2 young actresses who play Alba later this week.)

I like the French title; it’s mysterious. And congrats on getting the italics to work!

Great interesting post, PCN, thank you! Don’t stop sharing those tips – although we could blame you for making our windows dissappear behind the book pile!

Actually, at the moment I am reading one of the novels you previously recommended, that is [i]”The time traveler’s wife”[/i]!!!
Just so you know (it’s a detail, but I remember you also like to discuss the translation of book/movie titles!), the French version has been called [i]”Le temps n’est rien”[/i] (= Time is nothing). Well, why not, though I would have liked “La femme du voyageur dans le temps” better.
Anyway, the book is great, so thank you for making me spend great reading moments with Clare and Henry before going to bed!
At the beginning I had some trouble getting into the story but now I just can’t wait to catch up with it every night! I’ll tell you more about it once I finish the book!

Elizabeth, you don't have to read them in order if your library doesn't have #1. The last one, Play Dead, is when Andy takes on his first canine client and it leads to a gripping, heart-tugging case. Reader#9, it IS nice to see light through my windows again and have walking space around my furniture. Paper cuts on your shins are not fun. And thanks for calling me trustworthy. Could you please give my parents a ring and tell them that? ARB, if you're already a Rosenfelt fan, you'll really enjoy New Tricks. I'd love to hear your thoughts on Ravens if you do read it. Shelley P, bring on the pizza, girl! I don't own dogs, either, but I love them in Rosenfelt's books. He makes them seem more honorable than humans sometimes. Lenore, so glad it's not just me. Hayley, hope Holly's Inbox brightens up your working hours a little!

Ooh, lots of choices! I’m a HUGE dog lover so I’ll definitely check out the Andy Carpenter series. Holly’s Inbox also sounds fun. I can probably relate since I work a boring receptionist job, too :-).

Normally, if I see an egregious mistake like that “could care less” on the jacket, I would not read the book. I would put it down and walk away because there might be more idiot mistakes inside to annoy me.

Luckily, I like Sophie Kinsella’s books so I’ll still read this one. But a writer of her status deserves better copy editors.
