Man! I miss Manhattan so much and now you have to really yank on my heartstrings with this trailer? Oh, Man!

Yes, I’ll be in line for the New York, I Love You, but you can rest assured I’ll be also walk into Where The Wild Things Are. Probably wear some sort of shaggy beast outfit to immerse myself a bit deeper into the experience.

Since you brought up Italy, Poncho – I’ll put up my hand for Venice {though Florence would also be lovely}. I want to see a movie that paints Venice with Love and lots of it, to once and for all drive away the goosebumps I still get if I think of Don’t Look Now !

Good question! Haven’t really thought about it… but now that you mention it, there might be a couple of cities worth exploiting, y’know?

I’m thinking Mexico City (ha! I’ve got to promote my country), or Madrid/Barcelona. Viena would be amazing, and I think Florence could be a great place as well.

Shelley P, it’d be rude if it doesn’t come out in Australia! I don’t know him but one of the producers, Emmanuel Benbihy (he came up with the concept of doing love stories in different cities), is on Twitter at http://twitter.com/CitiesofLove. Send him a tweet and ask him when the Australian release is.

Poncho, not only is Shanghai planned, but also Rio (tentatively called Rio, Eu Te Amo) and Jerusalem. Shanghai is allegedly up next, planned to coincide with World Expo 2010 being held there. Where else would you like to see the movies set?

Debbie, the use of that song is perfect. It helps bring me unadulterated joy when I watch the trailer. Makes me nostalgic for when I was that age.

Corey, I think it’d be hard to be another Love, Actually. To me, every story, performance, scene and line in that movie is flawless. Even the DVD commentary is great.

I will be plunking my hard earned cash down for Where The Wild Things Are. I saw the trailer in the theatre and have been completely captivated. Using Arcade Fire’s “Wake Up” for the trailer was
brilliant.
