And you’re just in time for my pushing Kate Hudson down the stairs, Jen. Hope you did some leg warmups, too, because we might use them to just kick her down. Oh, and I think she did cut her son’s hair, though it’s more like a trim and not as short as you might like.
Do you have a specific 40-something guy in mind?
]]>That dress IS something on Kate Hudson. I’m so jealous of her! Can we push her down the stairs? I do have to admit one thing, though. I wish she’d cut her son’s hair! Unless she already has. Last time I saw it, it was crazy all over the place.
And hey! I’m looking for a 40-year-old guy…actually, I wouldn’t mind a 40-something guy! 😉
Always fun stuff, PCN! Thanks for the smiles!
]]>You only stayed up until 3 a.m.? I stayed up ’til 6 writing this dang thing! (Well, I was also procrastinating, had some tea, ate some chocolate, etc.)
Yes, Clooney’s quip was perfect! I like Jeff Bridges but Clooney was robbed. And did you see how humble he was when Ken Howard gave him credit for the Haiti telethon? He looked like he wanted no attention for it, which is cool.
Hooray, you’re a Firth fan! It’s decided, then. I’ll continue to run gratuitous photos of him without explanation.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment!
]]>I completely agree with you:
– a tad boring, all the same winners as last week’s Globes. There was even an uncomfortably emotional speech from Drew Barrymore! Except, of course, for
– a Sandra Bullock-shaped surprise win. Have to say I was happy for her, and she looked genuinely shocked. Maybe ‘they’ are giving her this because Streep won last week and is going to get the Oscar and she has zero chance of winning that.
– Betty White’s amazing speech. Can’t believe she’s 88! And George Clooney’s quip about her afterwards was the period at the end of that hilarious sentence.
– No gratuitous photo of Colin Firth EVER needs an explanation!
🙂
]]>Betty White was so funny, she cracked me up. This industry tends to throw out women after a certain age so it was amazing to see all the things she’s done in her life and still doing, not just in the biz but for animal rights.
I think Streep still has a chance at winning the Oscar. Few years ago, there was a similar situation between Julie Christie (Away from Her) and Marion Cotillard (La Vie en Rose). I thought Christie was good, but that there was no competition. Cotillard became Edith Piaf and the transformation was incredible. Christie won the SAG and the Globe but Cotillard was the victor at the Oscars.
