Her passing has left an empty place in my heart and a deep sadness. She was idolized by millions but she had a way of getting into your heart. With all her fame and wealth Ms. Taylor never let us feel she was above us. She was always with us – caring, laughing, crying and hoping. RIP, lovely lady.

Elizabeth has expressed it beautifully ~ she was something special. And this photo of her is breathtaking. I can understand why she made you want to be Queen, PCN.

She was ahead of her time in many ways: a popular child star who grew gracefully and seamlessly into demanding, complex adult roles, the hunted celebrity whose affair with Richard Burton while each was married to someone else unleashed the modern paparazzi, one of the first celebrities to launch her own brand of fragrance, and through her tireless work raising awareness and funds for AIDS causes, helped to take away the stigma and fear that surrounded the disease in its early days. And, she won two Oscars and collected fabulous jewellery! She was a beautiful woman who lived a big, rich life. We won’t see the likes of her again.

OMG… I’m afraid to tell the folks about this news.
Anyway, may she rest in peace.

My mom used to take me to the cinema and I got to see Cleopatra on the big screen. Forget wanting to be a princess, I wanted to be a queen like Elizabeth Taylor!
