That was pretty surprising. I thought Stefano was a goner. The irony was I liked Pia more tonight than I ever have. She kept smiling, insisted she was okay while everyone was booing and Lopez was near tears. She was gracious in the face of defeat. And then she sang “I’ll Stand by You” while clearly America didn’t stand by her. That was classy.

Oh, Elyse! Noooooo! Paul reminds me of a marionette I had as a child and I would try to manuver the strings to make it kick itself! He is much more accomplished than I ever was at that task!

Thanks for all the kind words, everyone. This is my first attempt at a full blog post in English and thanks to PCN's kindness I'm having a blast. Paulette I'm liking Paul's quirkiness more and more each week, but I think he's still got something awkward about him. I say give him a chance. Haley, on the other hand, LOVE HER! Paulette---Noooooo! I like Paul; he's maybe my favorite right now. He's so crazy and unique. I like his groovy off-key singing. But I agree Stefano should be LONGone and I can do without Jacob, too. Nan---Welcome! Glad you liked Poncho's post. le0pard13---I agree Poncho is more entertaining in his recap than some of the local pundits. That's why I'm happy to have him cover the rest of the season.

Great guest blog. Loved the “spastic chicken dance” and comments about Jacob’s weird moves. There is something annoying and creepy about the way he throws in a wiggle and then tries to cover it up.

I hear you! However, voice-wise I am lovin’ Haley! Tonight, I think puppet boy (Paul)gotta go! His movements make me cringe! Gospel boy could not comfortably sing his first song choice but gyrated on stage? What’s with that? The least favorite for me are Stefano, Paul, Jacob …and I could live without Pia! Great commentary, Poncho!
