I visited your blog to see what you thought about The Husband’s Secret before I bought it. One of the first things you wrote was that you really enjoyed What Alice Forgot. I went with it instead and wasn’t disappointed. Loved the audiobook – narration was great and probably made it that much more enjoyable. I read Big Little Lies after you recommended it, and I’m sure I’ll read more by Moriarty. Thanks for the reviews 🙂

Sounds like my cup of tea, PCN! {And I don’t have to risk being afraid to shower or turn off the lights after reading it.} You’re spot on about how things can change so gradually, we don’t tend to realise unless there’s some kind of big shake-up that brings it home. {Somewhat like looking at old photo albums out of the blue!}

Dear PCN-

Have you lost your mind?! Where’s the killing and the maiming and the heisting?! Where the the badass-ness?!

Just kidding. Ever since The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, I have been fascinated with this subject and have changed my mind on what I would do if faced with the opportunity of knowing in advance how if a relationship was going to turn out good or bad. What would I do? I probably go through it anyway. The heart wants what it wants and having your heart broken can give you insight on what you truly want. It can be a great conversation starter and also devolve into a heated debate at dinner parties. My jaw has hit the floor as I witnessed seemingly happy couples retreat to separate rooms upon hearing their significant others opinion on the matter.

I’ll pick up a copy.
