I loved the book, and I recall the Odyssey. And being ‘ere in Mexico I got to feel extra special because THE GENTLEMEN’S HOUR hasn’t arrived here yet (I haven’t got news of it arriving, so…)

The book was fantastic, le0pard’s “Odyssey” was incredibly fun, and this post made me smile and remember. Thanks PCN

I haven’t read any Don Winslow before {sorry, I’ll go wash my mouth out with ocean-salt water}. But I want to. This one’s going onto The List. Must get back into the audio books ~ I had a bad experience with the second audio book I tried {combination of annoying writing plus annoying voice} and I think it put me off somewhat. But I’ll climb back on the horse again.

Great look at this one, Elyse. I'm in the middle of TGH right now (second read) and I'm really enjoying once more (this time in audiobook). In fact, I re-did The Dawn Patrol and this in succession, and it works extraordinarily well as a sequel for this group of characters. Thanks.
