I have this on my Too Scary to Watch list, but it’s great to read your thoughts on it, PCN. I don’t want to begin to imagine what Noomi Rapace’s character has to do. {I didn’t watch any of the Alien movies ~ that won’t come as a surprise to you, I’ll bet.}

I was kind of vague on the verdict because my feelings aren’t strong one way or the other. It’s a well-crafted movie with some strong elements, and I think people who are familiar with the other ALIEN movies should see it, but it didn’t excite me overall.

I hope the 3D doesn’t make you sick. I’m not a fan of it, either. I don’t know why so many movies are being shot that way. This didn’t need it, and it didn’t make it better than ALIEN or ALIENS.

Verdict–Is that a good thing?

“She does something I’d never seen done on screen…” Well, now I’m intrigued!

I do want to see it, though I’ll have to load up on ibuprofen–3D gives me a headache. : (
