I will probably read the next in the series (at some point) because Cormoran and Robyn are such well-drawn, likeable characters, and because Rowling allows a good bit of humor into what would otherwise be a terribly cold story. I wasn’t a fan of the HP books, not because I thought they were bad but because I just have a tough time in general with the fantasy genre. But I do like the style of Cuckoo’s Calling. I hope the pacing will be improved, and the plot more engaging next time out.
