I do lament a lost love. In my case, he died. His name was Terry. I’m married now, 30 years later, and I love my husband. But I still think about Terry and miss him.

My husband has been the love of my life. Any of the loves I had in the past, I realized was not true love. I would really enjoy reading this book. Thanks for having the giveaway.

Alas, I was never the “true love.” Two of those women I thought, and still think might have been my true love but the feeling wasn’t mutual. I’m not sure if that counts as “true love.”
Do I lament those two, yes. Do I lay in bed and think about what might have been, yes. Do I lay and bed and think, how can I use these feelings to make my characters more emotionally rich, yes definitely.

A man approached and offered to buy me a drink; I declined, politely. After he left the area, the bartender asked “Do you know who that was?” I indicated that I was not paying much attention, so no, I did not know who it was. He told me it was Paul McCartney….DAMN! I always wanted to marry him.

Was lucky enough to have one great love affair in my life, years ago. Unlucky enough that time was not on our side.

Life still worked out just fine, but still …
