It’s not so over the top as some of his other books and I like his over the top stories. It’s more of a crime drama which moved at a leisurely pace – until the final 100 pages causing me to stay up late and finish.

I lost my husband to MS last month, and along with the barrage of letters, phone calls and Facebook posts with memories of what Bob meant to others, stories of my contributions were stirred up. I taught my children and their friends how a simple kindness like a smile, a small compliment, a kind deed can impact others. 20 plus years later, I see the result in kind, compassionate, empathetic young adults who make it a point to share, lend an ear, offer a shoulder, and volunteer their very valuable time to help others. Plus, they recycle and are avid environmentalists! If that is my only contribution to society, I think I’ve done my job well.

Other than Canary and My Sunshine Away, I’m most looking forward to the new Grant Jerkins, which I just learned last week was coming out soon. Some of the others I’m curious about (particularly Rabbit and Swimmer), so can’t wait to hear what you think!
