None of the meals, more snacks really, described in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo series are all that complicated, but they cause me to drool a little too much. Maybe it’s a Swedish thing? And, yes, I acknowledge this isn’t limited to a particular character’s food preparation. Those books were filled with moments like that for me. Silly, but true.

I would love to have a pork tenderloin prepared by Spencer and anything Italian prepared by Kay Scarpetta.

Something cajun by Clete Purcell would be risky but interesting or a nice romantic dinner prepared by Alex Delaware.

RC’s recipe for gumbo. I was going to say the etouffee that Elvis was going to have Lucy teach him to make, but I think it was shrimp, which I don’t like, and etouffee is too rich for me. Plus if Lucy made it, I’d hate it. Just saying. Oh, and I collect antique, regional, and unusual cookbooks, so I have to get my hands on a copy (even though I just re-homed about 100 books when I downsized).
