A shorter NSL list than previously, but I like the entries a lot.

WHERE IT HURTS – haven’t read RFC since he teamed with Ken Bruen for Tower. Love his writing though and this sounds a bit like my Christmas vacation. No, you shouldn’t ask.

MR. SPLITFOOT – I agree, it sounds very odd.

EVEN DOGS IN THE WILD- I read the first 20 pages of this already. It didn’t grab me right away, but will give it another pass.

NO BAGGAGE – I’ve been thinking about doing this very thing lately. Maybe Clara Bensen has tapped into the current zeitgeist?

THE SHUT EYE – after reading Rubbernecker, I have decided I keep an eye out for any books by Belinda Bauer. Yes, please!

Thanks for making me re-shuffle the books on my nightstand, people.

I love seeing what everyone recommends, too! I was excited to see I have most of these books in my pile, but the months when I haven’t heard of most of the recs are also good because you all put them on my radar.

It does! I have some promising February books in my TBR and have already read two really good books, one a March title and the other an April release.

January book choices sure seems to be boding well for 2016!
