I think The Party might be up your alley, Laura. I really liked it, it scratched my itch for an intriguing dysfunctional relationship/character study with violence and mystery tossed in.

Oooooh, The Party sounds intriguing. I’ve recently read Susan Elia MacNeal’s The Paris Spy. A terrific spy story and I love, love, love her voice for history.

The Ghost of An Innocent Man and The Blinds were already on my radar and I’m looking forward to them both.

Since you asked what I’m reading this month, I just finished reading Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine based on your previous review. It didn’t disappoint.
