The synopsis of the Bolton book reminds me of a short story I read years. Can’t remember the name or author but it started pretty much the same way, I think: hot air balloon, murder. But I think a small child was also involved. Wish I could remember.

THE WESTERN STAR: I hear so much of the books, but the series puts me off. Is it true to the books? Should I start at the beginning?

NOMADLAND:
Digging the term Wheel Estate and I admire the people who make it work for them, but it scares the hell out of me. Maybe that’s why it needs to be read?

DEAR FAHRENHEIT 451:
Trolling the bookstore on a day off remains a favored pastime of mine. Will check it out.

DEAD WOMAN WALKING:
I was lucky enough to have a copy of this slipped to me already. Loved it! VERY GOOD SELECTION, PCN!

BTW, I appreciate your ability to unplug. Maybe we can all get there someday.
