I’m on vacation. Can you guess where I am?
I’m reading Driven by James Sallis (sequel to Drive) and Getaway by Lisa Brackmann becase it’s a thriller that takes places during a woman’s vacation in Mexico. Well, we’ll see who has the bigger adventure when I go in search of otters tomorrow.
Happy Friday!

March 30, 2012 at 7:30 amYou are at the “Gibralter of the Pacific”, one of the Nine Sisters. I won’t say any more. Too easy. Check with Helen for some good places to eat and fun things to do in the area. (Check out the Palm and the Fremont and make sure that you go to Phoenix Books.) I like this game. “Where in the World is Pop Culture Nerd?”

April 2, 2012 at 1:42 amYeah, this is definitely too easy for you. We ate at some great places—Frankie & Lola’s, and the Top Dog. There’s also a newish Thai place in town that was amazing.
You just gave me a great idea for a new feature. Maybe I’ll dig up some old travel photos and do a “Where in the World is PCN?” feature this summer! Thanks!

March 30, 2012 at 7:51 amI know better. On your one trek up that hill you bought a postcard from which you could tweet a photo of what’s outside your cozy B&B door. Did you buy an otter postcard, too? Lazyass.

April 2, 2012 at 1:43 amI am in fact a lazy ass, but I actually walked down to the water to take this photo. Full disclosure: Our B&B was right there so that means I stepped outside.

March 30, 2012 at 7:38 pmI like the way Laura thinks. Have a fabulous time – I hope you see some otters holding paws. So darned cute.

March 31, 2012 at 1:44 pmNice! No clue where your photo is taken; only know that I’m way jealous. 😉 Hope you and Mr.PCN have a great vacation!

April 2, 2012 at 1:45 amYou can’t be jealous. You have a sunroom you get to sit in every day!

April 1, 2012 at 7:02 amI know exactly where you are. You’re about 14 miles from my parents’ house. Stop in and tell them hi!

April 2, 2012 at 1:48 amWhat? If I’d known, I would’ve invited myself over for dinner! Your parents might call you afterward to complain about the type of people you hang out with, but by then I would’ve been long gone, with a belly full of chicken.

April 1, 2012 at 2:13 pmI know, too! I do not know anything fun to do except hike and play golf! How long are you there?

April 2, 2012 at 1:51 amAm I making this too easy for everyone? We actually had fun kayaking and biking around in one of those surreys. There was also a city-wide garage sale going on. And, ah, we’re back already.
