First Photos of Rooney Mara as Lisbeth Salander

RooneyMara.net has posted the first photos of Rooney Mara in training for David Fincher’s adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. The pictures aren’t great quality but they’re clear enough to see Mara looking Lisbeth-y. You can click on the site’s name to see more photos.

A picture tells a thousand words. These look good. I still don’t like the idea of a remake, but at least the costume and make up people seem to know what they are doing.
I am so torn between really wanting to see an version of these movies without subtitles and wanting them not to mess with the original. ARGH!! I hope they don’t screw this up!
I am excited to see the remake having FINALLY seen the original version. I hope they can fill in some of the missing story line as I had to explain a lot to my husband who has not read the books and I hope they expand Erika Berger’s role. The pictures look good; what a transformation!

this movie left my head spinning for a few days and its been a long time since a movie did that to me. Rooney Mara acting was just incredible as was Craigs. I didn’t know she was American until I read her bio. She definately has a career ahead of her. Talk about sheer talent. What a movie!
