Wolverine and James Bond on Broadway

It’s raining hot men on Broadway this fall when Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig team up to do Keith Huff’s play, A Steady Rain. The New York Post reports they’ll be playing two cops whose friendship takes a hit when they get embroiled in a domestic conflict in a poor neighborhood. Dang, I’ll dial 911 right now if they want to get all up in my domestic business.

I think we’ve all heard about Jackman’s Tony-winning role as Peter Allen in The Boy from Oz but this will be Craig’s Broadway debut (he’s done theater in England). Rain will be conveniently produced by Craig’s Bond producer, Barbara Broccoli.

Will you buy tickets for this?

I would lay down the cash for Daniel Craig because I think he’s an interesting actor, but the verdict is still out on Hugh Jackman.

But, honestly, other than the Wolverine stuff, Hugh’s done very little to take note of since Swordfish. He was great in that film!

Ah… Swordfish. My annual guilty pleasure (now in Blu Ray, too). Hugh was good in it. Of course, Halle Berry was in the same movie…

Yes, and her “acting” was so memorable in that, le0pard13!

It gives Hugh a chance to flex his acting muscles a bit further. And they are very nice muscles, too, I must say.

Good heavens! Just the idea of Hugh and Daniel on the same stage makes my heart race! Kthudda kthudda kthudda! And a couple of hubba hubbas to boot! I’d probably sit through the whole play mouth agape and slobbering. Yes, I’m not proud. But seriously folks…I hope the play does well. (someone throw a bucket of ice water on me…pleez!)

If I was in N.Y. at the time (or if they both came out to L.A. to do this), I’d get a ticket. Well, my wife would make me ;-).

    JAMES BOND AND THE WOLVERINE

Sounds like a cheesy ’70s film. LOL!

I will be there to see these hunks no matter what.
I have seen all of Hugh’s movies; he can work in any genre. Daniel Craig is much more than 007. This should be an interesting match. But, if the play falls flat, eye candy is assured.

      Hi Annie,

I agree that even if the play is horrible, I wouldn’t ask for my money back, especially if I had a really good seat!
