Chat with Hugh Laurie This Wednesday

hugh eating cuff

I’m not going to name names but there are some regulars here who are crazy about Hugh Laurie. OK, fine, I’m one of them.

This Wednesday, August 26, Laurie is doing a live online chat with the Los Angeles Times, who’s inviting you all to join in with your questions and comments. The chat is happening at 3 p.m. PDT/6 p.m. EDT. For more information, go here.

See you there?  (UPDATE: The chat was fun! For a transcript, click here and hit “replay.”)

Oh gosh! OK, I freely admit, I’m another of them. You’re an angel, PCN ~ a thousand thanks and another bucket of fried chicken for drawing attention to this. And it’s doesn’t translate to a crazy time here – even better! There’s some fervent HL love already being expressed over at the LA Times site…

OMG!! I’m with Shelley P. in the excitement dept. One can never have enough of Hugh Laurie. Thanks for the great news. Now if I can sneak onto the internet while I’m at work or perhaps come down with some sort of half day flu…. Are you going to ask some questions, PCN? The LA Times has nothing on you! 🙂

I’ll be there for sure, but not because I’m some swooning female. Hugh Laurie is a manly man who some of us other manly men would like to sit down with over a pint or two and tell manly stories.

Yes, I am into Hugh, but in a manly manner.

Ho ho… another HL fan here. I don’t think I’ll be available at the time of the chat, though. Work-wise… sadly.

Shelley P—yay! I’m glad the time works out for you! I’ll see you there. And thanks for the fried chicken. There can never be too many buckets.

Debbie—I did hear that half-day flu is going around and that it might hit you around 3 p.m. tomorrow. I also heard you’ll miraculously recover in about an hour or so.

I’d like to ask Laurie when his novel, The Paper Soldier, is really coming out (I’m tired of the rumors!) and what it was like to act with Darth Vader (James Earl Jones guest stars on the 4th episode this season).

Reader#9—would your manly chat involve a discussion about what other manly actors you like?

Poncho—you’re letting work take precedence over a chat with Hugh Laurie?! What are you, an important scientist or something? [Ed. note: He is. Poncho’s a chemist.]
